Karl Marx is the background of his iPhone and he regularly writes “Down with Capitalism” via Echofon (social media app for iPhone). Not sure what to make of that. He also buys me expensive gifts, then claims to be against consumerism. Is he confused? He claims he’s in love with me, yet he…

It’s hard to pin you to my moment. I’m always afraid to let you come back here. I’m a procrastinator. Always tomorrow. I wish I could bring you somewhere better, somewhere I worked for, the end, the better end, the thing you didn’t expect. I wish I could be looking back on before. I wish this was the after. And then I think of how fast it’s going and I’m fucked. I have to start telling you, or you’ll never know.
Fly with me to the jagged highway walls of New Mexico in my mothers bucket-seated sports car with Cat Stevens on the radio. Do you see the right turn? The wall spin? The music video of my adolescence? The road trip?

Got it? Good. Now come to the railroad tracks with a belly full of tune-in-turn-on and explain love to your straight, white, punk-rock friend just before the train sweeps in, inches from your face, and you both say: whoa. Jump down Broadway on my skateboard with fresh bearings, drinking rum and throwing up in parking lots.
Smell the empty air of a desert movie theater far from your home. Now wait here.
